Saw the letter D while having supper tonight. I used one flash (550EX) and an umbrella for lighting. I really should have used RAW for this one because the color cast was way off. I played with Color Balance a bit to try to get it right. I like it. The only thing I'd change would be the blown out portion on the bottom of the cup ... makes it blend into the fabric. I know I'll get some flack from some people because the DOF is too shallow, but I chose to sperate the stem from the background elements.

Déjeuner is french for breakfast.

Nicely done. I happend to like macro shots like this and your shot nicely evokes an image of morning.

Nice use of DOF. Good composition. You might have a natural flair for photographing "elements". You could try using some soft yellow light on a similar collection of things -Just a suggestion. :D
