the bright light on the RHS really spoils the composition and would look better with the levels brought up.

Too small.

Good idea, but first, the picture really needs to be larger. Also, the strong light on the right side needed to be dealt with. Adding some contrast would really help too. The focus isn't good. I hope you keep trying (and I hope you have fun).

Not bad from what I can tell but images tend to have more impact if you use the maximum dimentions when posting..

way to small, although the "v" is obvious it looks like a very poor quality image, though hard to really see any detail at this size.

image is a little small

Good image; creative; nice work

this is a decent photo
the image shows an accidental letter in nature, not manmade or set up like many photos i have veiwed

Right side way overexposed. Rest of the image needs more color. It looks like you forced a letter by croping so tightly.

Interesting.

too small to make much of an impact. go to the learn heading under tutorials you should find how to resize you photo for entry.

Nice design but the lighting is flat and distracting

It's a bit too tiny

In a challenge where you can submit a 640 X 640 Pixel picture to a maximum of 150kb why not use the maximum amount available. 261px X 196px and 11Kb isnt enoughto do your subject justice.

This is a nice V. Your picture is quite small though, it would be much easier to see if you used the full 640 pixels allowed for the longest side.

Unless you have some compelling reason to use such a small image it's a good idea to take advantage of the full 640 pixels that DPC allows in at least one direction.

this picture is tiny

yes great find.. well seen...

Good start. Thanks to enter this contest. If I can contribute to this picture... You had a distracting element made from a huge light at right portion of this image. Other issue is the poor contrast in all image. May be other hour the light provides more contrast.
04/06/2005 02:34:21 AM
composition is great. lighting is a little harsh. band of light on right is a little distracting.
04/06/2005 01:20:07 AM
How do I start with this...
First off, size - Most common tip on DPC: Make sure the image is close to the maximum size allowed (640px on the longest dimension).
Secondly, title states something obvious, but not specific to the challenge or helpful in relating the image to thte challenge (not that it needs to). A better title would simply be "V"
Thirdly, the bright light on the right detracts majorly from the picture.
Hang in there - I hope this feedback helps.

I see the "V" in this photograph. I know it is a tree because of the title, too small an image for me to make out much detail.
