Greatings from the CC!

First off I have to say that it's a good shot.

COLOR & FOCUS: Both the colors and focus are crisp. I'm glad shallow DOF wasn't used here as it would lose the nice fur texture. The choice of a colored bg brings the focus back to the lighters colors of the pic.

COMPOSITION: Hmmmm..... Macro or close up??? My attention is always brought back to the eye of the toy. So it seems more like a close up of an eye than a macro. If your intention was to do a macro of the face then I would suggest not cropping the nose and top of head to get the complete feel of the toy's expression. :-)

All in all a good photo for such a "cliché" subject. The WOW factor is what probably gave you the lower marks. I didn't vote in this challenge but I would've given you an above-average score of 6.

Keep up the great work! You take great shots!!

just a little bit scary.

I would call this more of a close up than a macro. Good light and focus, but a bit oversharpened.

Focus on this closeup is good. Composition does not show off the subject. A smaller subject might have been better.

You certainly caught the texture of this guy. The colors are pretty good, too.

Captured the texture well - looks kind of synthetic, and the colour is strong. Doesn't do anything much for me beyond being a good shot technically.

I think this would work better if we could only see one eye. But nice idea.
