My Grand daughter's cat Macaco just wouldn't play ,"Get your picture taken", and kept hiding in the grass, or trying to chase her little dog.
Levels adjustment, contrast,a little saturation and minor dodge in the eye area, to a cropped portion of original image. Unsharpen mask was applied last as a final step.

Great shot. Reminds me of my photo in free study. =o The eyes do it for me.

Great sense of drama you have captured here. The next moment is clear in her eyes, the grass gives wonderful context. The tight crop works wonderfully in bringing her eyes to the forefront, yet also flattens her face a bit, making it look slightly disorted-it is hard to tell that the upper corners go back, they seem to fill out to the sides. Perhaps a slighly wider crop would have given necessary perspective. Really crisp shot, focus and depth excellent. I had given this shot a 6, and if not for the flattening of the head would have scored higher.

I love this pose for some reason...I know it's not exactly portrait...but i love the composition with the little pieces of grass sticking up.... Just a cool picture I think!

This is my second go-around =) - Excellent job!!! And I absolutely love the title... really fits! Overall, I think you did a great job with composition, exposure. I wish the cat's right side was a little lighter.. but that's soooo minor. I think you should place well!

I like the grass in front of the face, but IMO the cropping makes the cat's face look oddly short and fat.
