I for one really like the soft-focus / shallow DOF effect you have used here. I might like a slightly wider crop to the right a bit better, also not fond of the black border (tho both are minor nitpicks). ....7....

Nice composition. COlours are good. Unfortunatly, the DOF is a bit off and doesn't give the furball enought credit. Also the background's colour (or lack of) is a bit dull as it blends too much with the cat. A tiny bit more sharpness would help as well. cheers, 5

Concentration on the face. Great golden beauty. Bumping up.

Tyger is beautiful and that unique nose! How cute! I love this shot, the only thing that bothers me it the way the hair seems to disappear on the body, I'm guessing Tyger to shaved for the summer or because of matts? More focus on the face or cropping to just the face would have made this one a 10 for me, as is a 9

Awesome title. I wonder how many non-lit people are out there scratching there heads and saying, "I don't get the title. Can't even spell 'tiger.' Must be dumb. I'll score it crappily." I hope thery're few. Cute shot, and as I said, great title.

This is my second go-around =) - Awh... veyr cute kitty!!! I the over-exposed area on kitty's chest is a little distracting... takes away from his/her beautiful face. Next time I would use either more filtered light (I use a softbox or window with white curtains)... I do not thinking burning in that area w/photoshop would do much.

Great cat portrait (and I'm not a cat person, so that's REALLY a compliment). I love the lighting and the cat's expression. Great job.

very cute shot, personally I don't care for this border with this shot, but that is only a matter of taste. 8
