I like your idea, but am having trouble seeing the details..contrast levels too high? Background doesn't work for this shot..at least for me. Interesting nonetheless.

No they aren't cuddly, are they? LOL! This has the potential to be a great shot but the stark white backgroud, while might be a great contrast to most shots, over powers this one and washes the spider out big time. There is no clear detail on the subject and it almost looks like a layer was put on and the cleared where the spider was. It's funny that I can see the hairs on some of the legs but I can't see any facial detail. A 5

i don't mind spiders at all (my spiders), but i don't think this image is best suited for the challenge. this is just a bit too over-processed, as well as a bit too centered. might have been more interesting if the spider was in a corner. good luck!

seems a bit over exposed , I would have liked to be able to see the web he is dangling from, looks unatural with him hanging apprently in the middle of nowhere.
