I find the red background a bit off putting, but the detail and focus are great. The tip of the ear falling out of the frame is a bit distracting as well.

Really like the contrast between cat and bold red background. Negative space works well, although I wish there was some space to the left.

I like this shot a lot...maybe it's the cat's expression, or perhaps the sharp contrast of the red background. It's cropped a little too tight on the left, IMO. Good work!
beautiful kitty. would have liked to see a little more background on the left side of the head, the ear looks a bit too close to the border... nice catchlights in the eyes... 7
