Challenge: Rubber Ducky (Basic Editing III*)
Camera: Sony DSC-V1

Aperture: 8.0

Shutter: 1/3 sec.

This is completely ridiculous.

60W lamp light on background.
Handheld red LED for light on grapes.
White three-LED flashlight for duckie illumination.

Grapes suspended by thread from a ruler. (String remains more visible than I'd hoped.) I found it impossible to keep them from shaking completely, especially the two on the ends - hence the blur. I swear, there's some sort of macroscopic Brownian motion going on here...

This is my old rubber duckie from way back when I actually played with it in a tub... it's been around for a long time.

5.5? I love guessing.

Very evocative photo, but I just can't put my finger on what it should evoke. Sadness? Grim determination? Ducky shame?

Huh? Strange title. Viticulture is wine-growing, right? I can't see any halos though. And I don't know what poultry means. For the picture, I don't like it that much. The ducky looks strange, as if it was melting. Your shot looks underexposed. 4.

water drop gave an image of spitting.. so without waterdrop on beak, it was very good.

I you only had a better looking duck that would have made a better centerpiece, this would have been great.

I like your idea, however the focus and lighting could use some improvement. I would have liked to have seen the thread cloned out of the picture. Over all you met the challenge with a good composition. 5
