This is a beautiful image with adoring tonal values.

I like this a lot and not just because I like anything to do with trains. I sometimes think the the grayscale thing is a little over done, though.

without the title, this doesn't reflect the challenge at all

I think the title is the best part. Nice contrast ratio.

This is an absolutely beatiful b&w photo of a vintage rr station..it's nicely composed and I like that it's a different twist on this challenge...7

Excellent photo, the B&W works well... maybe just a little tighter crop.

I love the feel in this photo . . . branches in the lower right are a bit distracting, but otherwise I love it.

I gotta tell ya, I really wish there was an old steam engine in this image. It is incredibly sharp, and the detial in the stone and slate shingles is beautiful, as well as the painted trim details...but we really need a train here! <8>

If titles were pictures, I'd give you a 10. Without the title it's really a stretch for the challenge. I love the photo however. It is simple with a lot of detail. The station is so interesting to look at here. I would love to see more shots of this. Nice.

hey - for those of outside the US, that's not even very old... let alone the beginning! Lovely pic though, well composed. Nice b&w treatment.
