Bug was walking around the kitchen ceiling. Kept tracking it until it moved to the jamb where I could steady the camera's macro focus against the jamb. When the bug peeked over, I took the shot. Or to put it succinctly, I took it on the fly! Need an entomologist, though, to identify my kitchen crawler.

This one is my favorite in terms of perspective. Even the "expression" on the bug's "face" is terrific!

not to my liking, but you've done a good job, good focus on the bug, good color.

intresting. I was scroll cropping and you can make the little guy a stronger focus of the shot and still keep the impression of height thus eliminating the out of focus piece that takes up almost 40% of the shot.

maybe 45 degree to the left angle would make this photo more interesting

Nicely done! Box-elder perhaps? Looks like one tuff bug from this vantage point, no? Great usage of DOF. Really like the composition. Very well done!
