Challenge: In the Beginning... (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Location: Guatemala
Date: Mar 26, 2005
Aperture: F/7,1
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/160
Galleries: Emotive, Portraiture
Date Uploaded: Mar 27, 2005

This picture was shot in Guatemala on the last Holy Week. The colors they use are absolutly beutiful as this one shows up. I think this scene the subjet for this challenge showing us the beginning of the human´s life.
I used photoshop to: clone an area to black and avoid a distraction behind the child. Trimed to get the child as the moust important subject on the picture. Add a little beat of light, and finally, resized for challenge´s requirements.

Tenderness captured! Nice Shot. Good use of lines and color to focus on the little one.

I like the angle on this shot. The bright colors are also nice. The blotchy grey background detracts from the overall image a bit.

While this photograph might be appealing to the photographer and the subject, it does little for the viewer in the absence of some unique lighting
