 Taken with the Tamron 28-75. Of all of the many vaulted graves in this small churchyard, this one really caught my eye. It's not a bold image, and probably won't stand out amoungst the other entrants, but I feel it conveys more than just a weathered old stone...

The original was cropped, resized, and focus tweaked. The top half (grass) had a bit of levels work, and the bottom half (stone) had a bit of h&s work as well as levels. The entire image was then double bordered.

Different angle might have contributed to greater emotional impact (somewhat bland as it is).

The border works here. If the headstone was level it would look a lot beter.

Photographer could have angled a wee bit more so the word sacred would be a little bit clearer -- but its a great photo

I really like the colors and the exposure is perfect. However, if this was not a cemetary contest then I would have no idea what you were photographing. I wish you could have angled it slightly more so it's a little easier to tell that there is writing on the stone.
