 Dunno why exactly, but this makes me think of the 70's ... and I was too young to be taking drugs back then so that ain't it : )

I think it's the colours - faded like one of those old family photos - or an old 70s movie like Don't Look Now [70s or 80s? - I dunno]. Either way this is very evocative.
