I lived in st. louis for 19 years and can't remember a weekend that I didn't go down to see the Arch, it's such an amazing structure... and I love how you took a photo of it. I'm used to seeing it in colour and more vibrant... but the toned down, aged look is pretty nice. Great getting the people in there to give an idea of it's massive size. Love it!

A tad of grain but otherwise attractive image. Bumping up.

I really like how the tone and grain makes this look. Entertaining composition. 9

I like the effect you used. I made a few photos like this and people always seem to judge bad and say they are too grainy. I think its gives it a nice feel.

"they', the voters, are going to hate the grain. I think it's very very cool. Nice job, and a terrific photo! I would prefer a crop right above the buildings, so we just see the cool lines of the arch and the sky.

love the grain and tones, but i find the people slightly distracting

Very pleasant grain here - especially effective, rather surprisingly, on the steel (?) of the arch. I like the strong 'antique' feel, like a documentary shot from the 50's, poorly cared-for, when this architecture was ground-breaking.

Cool point of view for the picture, but a bit too grainy for me. 6.

A bit grainy, but good subject and nice tones (dark sky is great)

Excellent line. Looks almost like a postcard. Keep up the work!

A lot of noise

The graininess of this photo really bothers me.

Nice; would have done well in Ansel Adams as well as this challenge.
