I metered off the snow with the spot meter so as not to overexposure the highlights and then in RAW applied a curves auto-correction. In my graphics program I cloned out some dust spots and tufts of grass/weeds up toward the horizon. Ran through Neat Image and then applied the Still Life filter from the Virtual Photographer program, reduced size and applied USM.

honestly, not sure why I like this image. Definitely better with the limited color you used. Maybe the close tree branches gone would improve it but I can't say without actually seeing the result. I tried holding my hand over the monitor - not the same! Excellent POV - like the way the earth just ends.8

I like this picture except for the tree branches. I would like to see if you could take them out some how. I could be wrong though. Nice looking picture otherwise.

Its pretty nice... i like the plays with light and shade...horizon is beautiful too... sure those branches are bit distracting.

While I like the "darkness" here, it bothers mee to see snow so dark. I admit, bright white would have been boring and snapshotty, so I don't have a clear solution. 7
