The border is distracting and the subject is poorly lit

This would have been so much better without the border or whatever it is. A little more contrast would have helped too.

ahhhh. Love the picture hate the cheesy fuzzy blur you hastily slapped on the border. Damn you! 7 anyway, would have been a 9 or ten otherwise. :(

just a thought.... a colour version is what i would prefer. I almost missed the dog. nonetheless a picture perfect moment.

The white 'feathering' is really distracting in this picture. Without it I would have rated this much higher then I did. Also, you should have staged it somewhere with a better background, the chair and stuff on the walls in the background draw me away from the subjects. Otherwise, you captured moment quite artfully.

This is a nice image. I like the way the child is kissing the dog to show their affection. I also like the way you did the border to show the softness of the meaning. Nice job.
