I knew it was Horn Peak, my favorite subject from sw of Westcliffe. Great shot and placing. Van

Very contrasty. The snow on the foreground isn't as white as the mountain top. The dark ground in between has lost the details. The sky is good. Maybe photoshop could help? An appropriate shot for an AA challenge though. Good luck.

I definitely get the A A feel here, a bit missing the dramatic sky (but you cannot just order them, can you?) still nice.

Quite dramatic, but a little soft for my tastes.

Almost believeable, certainly. A couple of drawbacks for me: lack of foreground or even middle-distance interest, something to give a retreating dynamic into the frame, and a lack of life in the sky - where i think this cries out for a careful selection and pushing of contrast: it's that regular grey of those clouds, i think, where one would hope for more variety of tone. Absolutely the expected subject, and well worked tonally - the mountain itself really has that AA feel.

Awesome mountain shot! Good tonal range. Is that Long's Peak?

Nice work, not a large amount of snow here. Good luck in the challenge.

Love mountain pictures...A little sad we dont have any here in the netherlands. I believe the highest hill is about 40m : )

I guess this has been 'channel mixed' to B/W. Was the green lowered in preference to the blue? Certainly the tree line looks to be a lot darker than the sky. Interesting idea but not sure it matches the Adams type.

Horn peak at its best. Nice shot.
