This is a small house near my work. I particularly liked the domination of the tree over the house and myself. Trees have always been to me one of natures biggest strength.

Taken at 18mm on my 18-70 Nikkor.

Desaturation, crop, levels, curves and brightness adj were done.

I think that a bit more darkness in the sky to the right would really set this off.

Interesting point of view but the picture itself is static. There is some tension in the picture though, you can see where the snow might fall on the viewer at the bottom. Maybe if there was more of that.

Great framing and good contrast but just a touch soft in focus. Too bad there aren't more interesting details to show in the sky.
