I like it how the vignetting effect in the sky mimicks the flow of the crown of the trees. That's what makes the photo work for me. I'd personally have lost half of the foreground.

One of my favorite shots, I like the footsteps at the front of the picture it draws you in and makes you feel like taking a few steps into your picture. Good work.

Sky burn's tooe xtreme, especially where you lose tree/sky separation, and the composition's busy and unfocused to me, it doesn't seem to be "of" anything. nice tonalities, a little dark in the shadows but nice.

Revisiting and explaining my lower scores - I hope to be helpful, not insulting.

I only rated this a 4 because the footprints and the glare on the water really distract me. I know both were out of your control to a certain extent, but a different time of day would help some. Also, you've lost a good bit of foreground detail in the shrubbery to the right that I feel AA would have captured.
