I liked this in color and thought it had very solid tonal range. I gave you a 7 overall. Very nice shot. And I still miss home darnit. :)

I couldn't do this shot justice by doing B&W, thus loosing the great colors of this shot, especially the yellow willows, cottonwoods, and grass. I thought the shot was in ths style of Adams, but glad to be the only one in color. :)

| Greyscale would have give this photo a much higher Adams quality. He did so little color photography. Yet, I commend you for your bold stroke, stepping outside the box of black & white, offering us a look into a scene of color grandeur, being the only color photo in the challenge. What a location, with great lighting. |

| Yes, he did take some portraits and color shots, but in my opinion they are not what define his style. Everyone experiments, but one's style is what is common and familiar. If every type of photo someone ever took were included in a description of their style, then every photographer would have essentially the same style. In my opion, what defines Ansel Adams' STYLE is high contrast outdoor black and whites, not every photo he ever took. |

| A brave one indeed for submitting a colour photo for this challenge. The moon doesn't really add anything to this mage since it's all the way over in the upper right corner. I would have cloned/cropped it out. By cropping it out at time of shooting, you could have brought the camera down some to show us more foreground than just a few stray branch ends. As it now stands, you are showing only background and middle-ground. No foreground visible. |

| First off that fact that it is in color does not bother me one bit. I like the time of day you took this at, good lighting on the mountains. The tree in the foreground at the left is a bit distracting. Seems like maybe a bit too much sky and not enough mountains? I like the moon in the upper corner. |

| I probably don't need to say anything about this. I bet you'll be getting a load of remarks about the color. Nice shot, though, anyway. Personally, I would have cropped out the moon or else tied to have taken the photo when it was closer to the mountains. |

| Beautiful shot. You are probably going to get criticised for the color. The sky would have been very dramatic in black against the moon and the white mountain tops. It's also a shame about the tree to the left encroaching into the shot. The horizon line seems about 1-2 degrees out of horizontal as well. 7. |

| Superb image. The deep dof gives it a feeling of majesty and scope. The last quarter moon is a huge bonus. Given the tree branches in the foreground, that's a quarter-million mile dof! I hope you don't get hammered on your decision to keep the color. My first 8 of the challenge. I'll be back later to adjust. |

| This is one of my top rated picture. Lovely colours good space work (even without the moon I would like the big sky. I am sure Ansel did lots of pictures in colours too. I just hope this will not pull you down, being the only one having the courage to submit in colour. Good look. |
