 There will probably be quite a few in this style, as it is not difficult to take out colour using levels, however, I like this.

I find the shape of the mug pleasing and the lettering looks good, thus for me resulting in a pleasing simple and not too bright Light on White image.

I tried shooting with a laté in the mug, but preferred this shot, so drunk the laté and posted this one.


I Used levels to take out the colour.
USM, Neat image to tidy the noise and rotated the image, before sizing for DPC.

I added the grey inner border and a 1 pixel grey boarder on the outside to slightly lighten the impact of the automatic DPC black border

I left a little grey in as this gave some more character to the shot.
