 Three crystal glasses sitting on a sheet of white paper that's taped to some chairs at the back. The whole lot sitting on a coffee table.

Lit with two flashes pointing at the bit of paper from either side, behind the glasses.

This wasn't actually what I started out to shoot, my original idea was a totally different object-d-art, but it looked tacky, and this was sorta what I had in mind for my 3 entry, so here we are...

Lets see if this does as well as my 3 entry.

Would have liked this to be advanced editing really, so I could have used a wider crop. There were some nasty refletions in the top edges of the glasses I cropped out. Odds are I'll get comments saying I shouldn't have cropped so tight. Oh well.

Shot with the 50 F/1.8 and manual settings, using a light meter to set the flashes & apeture.

Fantastic shot. Wonderful lighting and colors. Perfectly composed. Would probably be really cool if shot from above the glass looking down on the roundness of the glasses. But great shot!:)

Nice idea, but In my opinion these colors are too bright for this contest. Didn't hurt you much though, so don't worry.
