This is wonderful. Great colors. I would have liked just a little lower angle to get more of the bodies visable against the sky.

Very nice job. I love the colors and silhouette. Would of been great if the rules would of let you put text in the black area. 9

I did that kind of stuff for years. Funny interpretation -- they are certainly all ears! : )

Very neat i-deer - erm, sorry 'bout that.

This is actually a very impactful, eye-catching concept. Obviously with some type to offset the benign image, this would be extremely potent and I actually feel that this is the most interesting shot in the challenge. Your title could be: "If you're stressed, we're all ears."

Compsotion note: the 50/50 split is a bit unaesthetic and may benefit from a 60/40 balance (more sky).

Good luck.

A shorter title like "We are listening : CRISIS CENTERS" would work better

My evaluation method of this challenge is as follows:
1. Did you catch my eye while I was driving by? Yes.
2. If I didn't catch the text while I was driving, did you intrigue me enough to look for this billboard again? Most likely.
3. Did you sell your stuff to me? Not the kind of service I would turn to according to a billboard, but I like this advertising.
4. Extra thoughts: Beautiful photo, beautiful concept. Bumping up (9)

ok, i am voting this challenge in 2 passes. in this pass, you will get a partial comment and a score. then i will come back to comment again. if you have any problem whatsoever with this comment, pm me and let me know. otherwise, take it with a grain of salt...i'm not trying to be a know-it-all, i'm just explaining where i'm coming from in voting this challenge. and, if this comment is NOT helpful (of if you think i'm full of $#!+), don't mark it helpful.

billboards are a science unto themselves. a lot of research has gone into determining just how much information a person can digest and retain in specific time spans. they use this information to develop formulas for determining the number of words and letters to use on billboards, as well as their sizes. they also determine the size and number of visual elements to include.

the graphics/photograph on a billboard are designed to get the point across in a moment. on the road, a driver will have less time with a billboard than a voter will give your image. this is a key element in the challenge: composing a shot that will get its point across quickly and succintly. along those lines, a strong composition will probably have few details and make strong use of negative space.

great visual imagery here! simple, understandable, and to the point. this would be hard to miss, even at 75 mph! i might complain about the split horizon, but, as is, you could probably go either way, putting the text in white at the bottom, or black at the top. all in all, a solid effort! good luck!

For a billboard, I imagine that the text would be printed in the top 3rd. Therefore, this would have been better with the bottom cropper... wait, I just realized that the letters could be white (light) and fit in the bottom half. That would make it much better, bumping up.

i would probably crash my car trying to get a better look if this was on
a billboard. [how did you get all those deer together?]
