 Shot in raw, adjusted exposure, contrast and brightness, cropped and frame added

Not very imaginative I know, but I wanted something so simple and delicate as I have never shot anything such as this before. I found this quite a challenge to obtain the right exposure and ended up adjusting the Raw file to obtain the soft result that I wanted. Tried a couple of things I have never tried before such as setting preset white balance to the white card bbefore taking the shot. Not having any sort of proper lighting equipment, only a standard lamp with the shade removed probably didn't help.

to me this is more of a black and white than a light color on white background as the challenge suggested.

Good composiition, shadow of the feather makes a nice contrast to the white background.
