Someone asked for it to be DQ'd in the first couple hours of voting.

Before it was validated: 141 votes and 5.199 average.
After the validation: 69 more votes at a 6.509 average.

Oh Well. Would have been nice to have the validation before the voting started. Look at all those 1s, 2s & 3s.

Another 10 for me. Well done keeping everything in color and balance. 10

Target would be proud to use this in their campaign, I am sure! Well done.

Fun and very well composed. Viewer-friendly, too. I might have added a drop shadow to the pencil.

Classic. Simple. Clean and uncluttered. You don't even need a title to help out. 9

My evaluation method of this challenge is as follows:
1. Did you catch my eye while I was driving by? Yes.
2. If I didn't catch the text while I was driving, did you intrigue me enough to look for this billboard again? Yes.
3. Did you sell your stuff to me? Not sure.
4. Extra thoughts: Eye catching but with no actual product behind the bright colors.
The photo is good. As a billboard I'm afraid I would place it in the "annoying" category. (6)

This actually looks like a real ad! It would have been cool to see some erasers or something small to take up a little more space on the bottom right. good job

This works fairly well as an advertisement, though I would loose the red rectangle to keep it simple. It doesn't really look like a photograph though. Even the pencil looks like it was drawn.

I like the idea but some how is too platic, looks almost like a drawing and not a photo

oouuu, i'm telling! you put TEXT on your entry. i'm deducting one point for each letter! your dimensions are 640x330, not the RECOMMENDED 640x320; i'm deducting a point for each pixel off. so, let's see, that's gives you a ... -22

I think white would have been a better choice for a background colour, mainly because the gray you used is almost the same as the gray of the site and it tends to blend in rather than stand out. Otherwise a good shot.
