 My ipod. It's white. Background is white.

Used a canon 50mm 1.8 lens at 6.3. Tripod of course. Lighting consisted of a Simga EF500 super flash being aimed somehwere in my room. (Not at the ceiling because that left a reflection on the screen that I didnt like.) Also used a reflector on the shadow side to lessen the shadows. It worked really well. Shot in RAW (I don't know why I did that, but its fun to play with it later lol)

Post Processing:
Open in photoshop as raw file.
Adjust the shadows slider just a bit.
Set white point with levels.
Resize.
Sharpen.
Submit.

63??? WHY??? I thought this one would have least got a placing. God, it's better than my pic...lol.

to me this is more of a black and white than a light color on white background as the challenge suggested.

Looks like an ad, so crisp and clean.

An excellent example of 'Light on White' challenge picture!! I have rated your photograph a 10 because it has excellent composition, clarity, originallity and perfect soft shadows. Very well done and I wish you good luck in this weeks challenge!
