where's the white?

I like your idea to go soft, but it's just a tad too blurry for my taste. I Like the lighting on the flower, both the highlights and how it shines through the flower and makes it look sort of luminescent.

It is very pretty, I would like to see it a bit sharper..but it is nicely composed.

I would have loved this if the entire flower was in focus, but I'm assuming that is intentional. I like how the composition flows from one top corner of the frame to another, it really ties the entire piece together, also there is color in the shot, which it seems half of the challengers didn't notice in the description :) 7

seems out of focus

The color is nice and balances the soft image, but I might have preferred a bit more of the flower in focus.

A bit too soft for me. Needed a greater depth of field.

the DOF is just a little too tight for my tastes.

Using a shallow DOF on this shot is a great idea, however IMO it's just a little too shallow. I would have liked to see just a little more in focus.
