to me this is more of a black and white than a light color on white background as the challenge suggested.

Like the line the hand and arm make, and the dark on one side and light on the other. Nice effect. And I like that you can make out the eye on the dark side...that would have been easy to lose. Nice job.

I usually like high contrast shots but here I think I'd like it better if it were shot intentially like that and not just boosted in PS after the fact. Still, he's a cutie. 4
