Kudos for trying a "shiny object shot". I tried some and was not successful. May I suggest a tighter shot on maybe the corner of the black and chrome to really do something abstract. I did find that one needs strong lighiting for the shiny ojects, but it must be diffused - I had a little luck with a piece of paper in fron of a lamp BUT DON't LET IT CATCH ON FIRE.) |

Very original idea, like the blue lines on the toaster, but it's hard to tell where the focus is clear and where it's not. Don't care for all the shadows nor for the catchlight at the corner of the toaster. |

Good focus on the top but it's not well lit (the top part). And the focus on the plug and reflection is very destracting. It should be in focus I think. |

I think focus is too narrow - would have considered to include more of the toaster face. |
