| ummm I see the oil but where the water. Withot seeing the water I get no feel of separation. I think the waters under the oil but It also looks like it could just be part of the glass. I think this would have looked alot better if the glass had been fuller to better show the separation. not bed .. not great 5 |

| The idea of separation of fluids and of shadow and substance is a good one, however these two, in this composition, compete for attention. The shadow would have been more effective at a severe angle to and some distance from the substance it resembles. By placing them so close, they distract from each other and leave me dissatisfied with the result. |

| I'm fairly early in the scroll, but this is the third take I've seen on oil/water and I think the best so far. Simple, but a couple of contrasting colors and the reflection to add interest. My only suggestion is that while I like the offset glass, I would have left a little more space on the left than you did. |

| Not bad for an oil/water shot. Thought I'd see more of these. Love the shadow on the wall, however I'm really turned off by the pesky blown out bottom and right side. |
