hey...i gave this a 7 when i voted on it, which is fairly high for me. I think the techique is excellent and it said 70's to me, eventhough i now see how modern the tv is. i felt the point of light was necessary to add interest and keep the eye moving about the pic. the pink in the flower matching the tv screen is super strong and adds to the ease of viewing this pic. i think the ceter split composition not only works but is the only way to go with this type of image. please keep up the good work

idea's good but the res is too low and it's too dark

The light in the middle of the TV screen is a little distracting, however the purple is inspired

I like the tray in the forground jumping at you whilst the telly in the background is waiting to be watched! Nice

Great idea to do the TV tray! Takes me back.

Too bad you have the flash reflecting off the tv.

like the idea would love to have seen a different lay out

this is a good idea, but not executed well. The TV dinner would have been good to add and better lighting--the flash can be seen in the TV and the TV in focus would have helped as well.

While you sort of brought us the idea with the tv tray, it would have been nice to use an actual TV dinner in the shot and a b/w tv instead. Your flash reflection in the tv and slight tilt hurts the image a lot.

This photo manages to capture so much that was ugly in the seventies and is ugly today: even though my reaction is strongly negative, I've got to nudge this up a bit.

composition is way off. Reflection on the tv is distracting

T.v.dinner:nice!....but the spot in the t.v.!?!

The concept is right on! But, the composition does not work - the relationship between the TV tray and TV is awkward. Having elements of the walls in the background are distracting.

Sure evokes the 70s to me, but I don't think the composition is the best-4

I like the crass 70's ness of the colours and pattern of the cloth. The light reflection in the tv could be avoided.
