He may look like a very sad confined dog. In reality he was a vicious watchdog guarding a luxury home under construction that barked relentlessly as I walked by.
I was very relieved that there was an iron gate separating us!

Bella, I think this would have done better if the image had more tonal range. I know that is not always easy to capture with snow on the ground, but we expect a dog's nose to be darker. Your unplugged was high key and also lacked a full tonal range, but with that picture it looked intended and it worked well. Great photo anyway.

Very clever, my first thought was "separate". Love the colors and intensity of the dog. Good luck with this cannine submission....

while technicaly a decent photo I feel that this is just not a very exciting shot. It apears to be another shot of another dog taken from the same focus on the nose angle. (not intending to sound rude). I don't mind pet shots I would just like to see them done from different angles. I will acnowledge however that the shot fits the challenge and is technicaly a good shot.

The image diffinitely evokes some fear and meets the challenge well. I think the use of Sepia helps to sharpen the dog's face. I like this shot. Good luck.

Now that's one beautiful dog, and one beautiful shot! The branches are a bit disturbing, but the hell with it! I loved this shot! 8
