This shot was taken at a special river. The bridge was just built it is nice. There is a little trail on the otherside. I was hurring a little bit because it was getting dark. The bridge is a suspension.

Very dramatic, mysterious and romantic.

Why did you add that strange border to top and bottom? I find it very distracting. This bridge would have been an interesting subject to 'paint with light' instead of using the flash. Also, a more symmetric approach would have added to the impact. 4.

this widescreen border look is distracting

This feels lop-sided to me. I think that a more centred, balanced composition would work better, with the lighting being a bit softer.

I love the way this photo disappears into utter darkness, leading us into mystery, a great photo of faith, as we step out across the suspension, into the unknown future, our only confidence in the strength of the Bridge and the Bridgebuilder to support our lives as we journey onward. Cool photo!

Novel, but the 'lit with a flashbulb' look doesn't work for me.

I like the idea of not knowing where it takes you etc, and i know there's nothing you can do but it would have had more impact if it was an old looking bridge! nice..

The photo itself is nice, but I really don't like the border.
