Taken with my hot lights. Diffuser in front of key light, in front and above me. White cards to the right and below. White backdrop overlit by one stop. Levels adjusted in PS, and the BG cleaned up a little. Resized and converted to JPEG.

A very nice response to the challenge with very good lighting to make the point. The image has a softness but I like it because it supports the rather attentive but somber mood. Bumping up.

Nice job with the dof and the clear bg. I like the idea of us seeing the cable release but sort of wish the wire didn't cross in front of your face....but I wouldn't want you to lose any fingers either. :-) Maybe if you had moved everything up just a bit. Great shot.

The hand dominates, is out of focus and therefore, maybe,becomes distracting?
