Yes, this meets the challenge. It's also not a bad photo technically. IMO, it doesn't have a lot of weaknesses but there aren't many strengths to make it stand out either.
The dof is maybe too shallow. It's hard to tell exactly what is in focus b/c there's so much that isn't.
Exposure and lighting could be better. A big part of the problem is that black background. It is just too dark for the subject. The lighting should also be more even. It is too harsh on the left side of the top label and makes it look way overexposed.
I'd also crop differently so that the bottle isn't smack in the middle of the frame. A more vertical crop would work better.
IMO, there are some things to improve this shot but a picture of a beer bottle is only going to appeal to a limited audience anyway - unless you have it spewing out the top or something other than just sitting there. |

| I'd have preferred this on a contrasting background so that one could see the shape of the bottle. |

| The black ground doesn't work at all for mosst of the product shot, even worse when the subject is in the dark tone like this |
