Returning for comment. Nice shot; I like the angular composition but I think it might have been a little stronger if your head hadn't ended up in the center. Good lighting and tones.

i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image as a guinnea pig as to what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.

nice work. the lighting, composition, pose, and expression all come together. the only real nit i have here is the cd pack--it's just not background enough to keep from detracting. really enjoy the range of tonalities across the image.

While not 100 percent in the portrait genre, the image is much more emotive and the lighting accomplishes and aids to deliver the mood. Bumping up.
