Taken in July 2002 on the wreck of the A.W. Perry, Chebucto Head, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
On June 15, 1915, the 78-metre, 957-ton A.W. Perry, after travelling from Boston, struck Chebucto Head while entering Halifax Harbour in dense fog. Unable to be refloated, the vessel was left to the waves.
The remains of the wreck have left a wonderful home for sealife such as this seastar and green urchins. There are also numerous pollock, wolf fish and lobster to be seen.
