Another of my top picks and so similar to the other. Great expression. Great light. Love the softness of the face with sharp lips and eyes.

very sly and witty. the reflection off the few hairs in the black are a bit of a distraction in an otherwise stark study. top ten

Very unusual. This photo breaks most of the rules, but I like it for the expression and the fact that the mount and eye are what we see.

try using a long focus lense :)

Composition: 8, Superb composition!
Technical: 6, I would like this shot a little more if the lighting was toned down a bit. Little scattered white spots (from hair maybe?) to left of your cheek detract just a bit
Appeal: 7, I love the overall feel of the shot. Less makeup would improve the shot for me. Very nice smile :)

Beautiful shot. looks like oil painting.
I love the texture and the high contrast.

This one rises from a portrait to a work of art. The execution is quite to my taste. It is more an image that teases the viewer to guess the rest. Yet, the composition and lighting are so strong along with the negative space and the image carries the viewer inro sheer admiration. Bumping up.

I like to see eyes more than noses - no insult to your nose :) Fully including the eye would have helped me like this more. 6
