Shot in the garden of a museum. The left statue is very old and taken from the garden of an orphan's home. The right statue is modern art. I cropped the legs of the left statue off, to mimic the pose of the right statue. The goal is to show the change of art over the centuries. It is one of the first photo's where I paid attention to composition and angles.
The right statue has been taken away again.

Strange. The right statue looks more "classical" than anything. I mean, we even seem to be going the opposite direction - John Ashcroft had the "private" areas of the statues in official buildings in Washington covered.
