Oversharpened? Or never in focus to begin with? Something seems off.

Just not a very appealing subject imo, and kind of strange composition.

Interesting title. This capture brings warmth to the obviously dying leaves. The balance works well, and the bokeh introduces spots of light in the background.
A slightly sharper focus on the leaves would lift this another lovel.
