After seeing a thread in the forums asking for help on creating statue effects from portraits I decided to have a go but all the portraits I could find were of people wearing glasses ... way too difficult.
Just about to give up I remembered this and thought I'd give it a shot.
I deliberately left the jewellery as metallic and tried to get a texture that suggests half human and half stone.
It's the first time I've ever played with this technique and I enjoyed it!
