I saw this road off a road I normally take everyday. It took the sign challenge for me to even realize it was there. I have started looking at signs a lot more now. The only edits I done to this picture are:
Rotated to level horizon.
Cropped to get rid of some bad spots in the picture.
Done an Auto Color to darken a little.
I didn't do much because I am new at this stuff. Any comments are welcome.

My work is done here (for now) my 10th comment on your work tonight Rex and I find I've voted on this in the challenge (didn't comment however).
I gave it a 5. As other commenters mentioned, its not an image that makes you go 'wow' and although I'm happy with the composition 'middle of the road' is the best I can come up with. Oh, if you drive this way to work everyday I'm a little worried you didn't know you were entering a 25mph zone!!
I actually disagree on the the good light comment. I think this is very average, middle of the day light. That kind of light is very flat, and doesn't add anything to an image. ...
Look at the shadows on the road of the fence - this is not middle of the day light. I agree that evening light is better. Perhaps some saturation or even hue (the grass could be more attractive - i know, it's winter). Did you try it in b&w?
This is the type of shot that ends up middle of the pack - like mine. Hard to comment on it - nothing drastically wrong or right, just not exciting or moving, it says nothing. Decent composition, decent exposure. More than a snapshot, but not something you'd frame or put on a calendar. Add something to the pic - a yellow ribbon on the sign or a hitchhiker or ... litter!
I actually disagree on the the good light comment. I think this is very average, middle of the day light. That kind of light is very flat, and doesn't add anything to an image. For fun, go back tonight about 30 minutes before sunset, and start shooting one image every minute until 15 minutes after sunset. See if you notice a change in the dynamic quality of the image. I think different light could easilly pop this shot up several places.
