This was the third time I used a circular polarizer, chaged my WB and I think that its not so washed and grainy as most of my other pictures have been.

graininess is a result of a high ISO setting (film sensitivity). When it's dark the camera on auto setting will raise the ISO level to make it brighter but it causes graininess on most Point and shoot cameras. I noticed your background is blurred a bit, good job it definitely improves the shot.
This is an interesting take on the challenge, and I appreciate the creativity. The mottled background is very distracting - it almost camoflagues the plant.
You've got some bad JPEG artifacts in there. Set the camera to take pictures at a hivher quality or set a lower compression rate when saving it after editing.
I can't see a distinguishable difference between the elements that would show me what is old and what is new. The plant is cut off at the top, and the front wheel is in the shadow (it should be lit). 4.
