The focal affect is neat. This would be an even better photo had the fingerprints been cleaned off the watch.

Several chose time pieces, but I prefer this because of the focus choice.

I think the old clock is more beautiful than the new one, therefore I am a bit disappointed to find it out of focus. The lighting is harsh on the metal of the new (use diffused lighting for metals), but I like the composition. I would have left more space all around, this way it's a abit tight for me. Just a cm on all sides. And more DOF. The old clock is too interesting to push it out of focus, IMHO.

Should have shined up the fossil...I see fingerprints

Yet the one which looks newer is actually a fossil!

Good idea, but next time wipe the fingerprint off of the watch

I like the depth of focus here. The only thing I might change would be to wipe off the fingerprints on the "new" watch :) Other than that it's really good. Very nice texture and the colors are wonderful. I like the crop a lot too. With just a little polishing that could be a magazine ad. Very nice!

Nice composition, nice color. The highlights are a bit blown out tho. It also wouldn't hurt to clean the fingerprints from the watch bezel. I noticed a big wad of gunk on the subject of my shot after I submitted it... a lesson in preparation, I guess...

I like how the new one is a 'fossil'!
