Great shot! Nice composition and color. You may want to clone out the horizontal light just above and to the left of center.

Must be quite a spectacular building (the new one) looking forward to seeing where it is....fantastic shot...strange color of the sky

Wow!

I'm not sure how you got the picture to look like this, but it's intersting.
It feels a little disturbing too. Strange.

Reminds me of one I took a few weeks ago, which I'll link you once voting is over - so I know that you've flipped L&R on this shot :o) You've managed to keep the highlights from blowing out, but boosted it enough to make the tower stand out against the skyline, nicely done. Oh, and it appears we're the only two Gerkin entries, which surprised me!

EDIT: oh wait, you took a shot from the north or east side of the Tower, not the south (ie riverside), so you haven't flipped the image, doh! :o)

The Gerkin looks good from this angle and the sky adds drama to the image.

Very nice pic. One of my favorites from this contest!

The gherkin! I've never been to London, but it seems like a great place to contrast old and new... I think if you had gotten a little lower, you could have removed that distracting blue light just left of center above the castle. Too bad the castle wasn't lit with torches instead of electric lights. :)

Barcelona, Spain, right? I remember that tower. Anyway, great picture with effective lens flares and an interesting sky. 10

The angle makes this

Meets the challenge and a pleasant photo to look at. I see a slight sharpness problem but it is very slight. Good capture and good luck.

a good composition fo shapes and colors, prehaps better with a strong crop on the left

beautiful.

I'm not keen on the harsh shadows on the castle or the green cast to the front wall. Sky looks a little strange too.

Certainly better than many of the building shots I've seen this challenge and fits the theme well.
