 Used the shadow/highlights adjustment to bring out the shadows, it creates some noise though. Just liked the lead in to the church and the hidden alleyway.

The noise does not bother me a bit.
I love this photo.
The stairway leads the eye to the graceful church. I almost missed the hidden way on the left...
I wish I could see the entire church in the middle of the photo, but I guess it's too big to fit in :-)
