Challenge: Breaking New Ground (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Kodak CX4310
Location: Northfield, MN
Date: Jan 18, 2005
Aperture: f 3.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/9

Held camera at arm's length, turned it as I took the picture. Was very difficult to get the point of focus right.

Rotated, small adjustments of brightness, contrast, hue, saturation.

And....that's what I get for putting a last-minute (literally) entry in. I knew I'd get hammered on this site for the lack of anything truly in focus. But man, I spent so much time shooting these things I had to enter something. I'm a bit skeptical about the 75 scores of 3 or below though. It's not beautiful, but how is it that bad? And why didn't you explain yourselves?

Nice idea, but seems a bit flat in contrast.?

i think this would have been more effective if some part of the face was absolutely razor sharp. nice effort though, keep at it!

Interesting technique but it doesn't work here. This technique really only works when the axis of spin lands on a point of interest. For example if her eye was at the axis rather than the forehead this would be much better.
