Interesting tree/sky. I'd consider cropping a tiny bit from the right so that thick branch bleeds off the edge.

A nice idea here a little too much overexposure perhaps, but I like what you were trying to do with this, it's quite dramatic.

I would cut the image on the right to avoid the amputated limbs from showing - the picture is really very exciting

An interesting sky but there is nothing special about the shape or lines in the silhouette of the tree to make it different or stand out as a picture. Maybe a close up picture of a portion of the tree against the orange would have been more captivating. Just my opinion.

I don't care for the artificial colors. The blown out sky is also distracting to me.

Lots of personality in this tree, good choice of subject, and not a hint of lens flare, nicely done.
