 this was fun to shoot. i have two dogs, one does not like water AT ALL and the other loves it. on this morning, the water was completely flat, offering a perfect reflection of the naked trees across the pond. of course, duchess wanted to swim, thus producing the waves. the cobblestoning was caused by her going in on my left, getting out, then going in again further down on my right. now, if only i could train her to do exactly that, on command ;-)

as it was an overcast day, this required very little post-processing (it was almost bw out-of-camera).

An enjoyable abstract, not too ambiguous to get lost to with enough energy to hold an interest. The contrast is excellent, the composition sensible. The fun you say you had shooting this comes well across.
