If I'd had the time, I would have submitted this to the Movie Titles challenge (in B/W). It's far better that what I actually submitted.

My submission was as rushed as rushed could be: by the time I started downloading images after shooting, it was 11:59 PM by Eastern time (though only 8:59 locally). I pretty much grabbed an image at random from the photo set, cropped, resized, saved. No time even to add a border. By the time the image uploaded, submissions were closed for the challenge... it was that close. However, since my actual submission sucked, I may have been better off submitting nothing.

Thanks. I agree with your suggestions, too- the blood was red food dye thickened with corn starch and was still too light. Also, there was supposed to be only one drip, but the first one went the wrong way--on the far side of the arm--and there was nothing that could be done about it given the time constraints. Just dropped another one on there and kept shooting.

As a rush challenge, it was an interesting experience... I think it was about 40 minutes from beginning to end. I learned a few things.

I agree about a million times better. I would desat the red blood just a tiny bit. It looks fake. Also if you want to have it look a little more authentic then I would also decrease the amount of blood some.
